Size does matter. The S&S T143 Long Block engine is the biggest and baddest S&S engine that will fit in a stock frame. It's big, 143 cubic inches. Since the introduction of the S&S T124 eleven years ago, it has continued to set the industry standard for aftermarket engines. The T124 has become the go-to choice for upgrading your late model Harley-Davidson motorcycle and it remains a great choice today. However, there's a new sheriff in town. The T124's big brother just came to the party. At double the HP of a stock motor the power of the T143 requires technical expertise for the installation and tuning along with an experienced rider. This is an ultra performance/race engine. Longevity, engine noise, vibration and throttle sensitivity have all been compromised to reach this level of performance while fitting in a stock chassis and as such is not suitable for every situation. It is the purchaser's responsibility to consider the suitability for their application. Engine noise and damage from abuse is not covered under warranty.

Available with chrome cam gear cover, rocker boxes, tappet covers and pushrod tubes in Wrinkle Black or Stone Gray powder coat, or "Black Edition" which is all black with highlighted cooling fins.
Note: Installation in Touring models requires modification of the stock transmission housing. A drilling fixture kit to make this a breeze is available separately. Installation also requires the separate purchase of an oil line routing kit and a year specific head mount bracket. Does not accept stock exhaust system. An exhaust flange starter kit to build your own exhaust or to modify an existing performance exhaust is also available.
1. 70mm Induction kits are sold on exchange only. Your dealer has to send your stock throttle body to Zodiac, who will send it on to S&S.
2. S&S tests your incoming throttle body and its electrical components -a non-functional unit cannot be used and will be returned
3. S&S transfers your functional electrical components to your new S&S Throttle Hog
4. The complete Throttle Hog is tested and shipped via Zodiac to your dealer (along with your original throttle body)
